YesSytle Purchases: Circle Lenses & Cut-Away Shoulder Eyelet-Lace Top

It's that season again where I am back on YesStyle to shop for some summer clothes. I avoided shopping for clothes on YesStyle for spring and will also not be buying anything in the fall until winter time again to buy a few items for winter because I'll be doing all my fall shopping in Japan! =D I actually don't really have that many summer items that I want to buy from YesStyle this year, there are just a few things that I want that I know I won't be able to find at H&M or Forever 21 here. 

I bought two pair of circle colour contact lenses again. I used to have a pair but it expired and I trashed them away. I didn't even get to wear the pair I had that much so I wanted to buy 1-2 new pair again. This time I'm hoping to wear them more often and not waste them, like maybe wear them once a week? I got two pairs that are not too large in diameter for a natural look so I could wear them daily if I wanted to. 

The first pair I got is from the brand Cafe Mimi Lens in 3 Tone Macchiato Brown. They remind me of the ones that famous Japanese model Masuwaka Tsubasa wear from her Princess Mimi Cafe series. They are 14.8mm in diameter giving your eyes a little enlargement but not too big and they last for a year with proper care and cleaning after opening them. I wanted a pair that would enlarge my eyes a bit but not too much that it looks too dramatic and this pair was a great size for that! I also like the colour of the brown too...not too dark and not too bright.

The second pair I got is the from the brand Magic Colour Lens in Grang Grang Brown. This one is only 14.2mm in diameter which is much smaller than the first pair for that natural look. I like how this one is a little brighter in colour but still a bit subtle and not too over the top. It also lasts for a year with proper cleaning and care after opening them.

I am currently still waiting for the contact lenses to come in the mail and will do a review on them of me wearing it when I have time. 

I also bought this Cut-Away Shoulder Eyelet-Lace Top a month ago. Been looking for something like this in this particular style for a VERY long time. Got this on sale and happy that I found it! I already received it in the mail a couple weeks ago but I haven't worn it out yet. I'm really loving cut-out shoulder tops lately that show a bit of your arms and your shoulders for the summer look. Want to buy more tops in this style! =)

Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 Polaroid Camera

So while I was flipping through flyers last week with my mom because my washing machine had broken down and we needed to buy one immediately to replace it. I came across the staples flyers and saw that the Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 polaroid camera that I have been wanting to get for a REALLY long time was on sale for $79.99 only! The camera is originally $99.99 so about over $100 plus tax if I were to buy it in regular price. Good thing was staples was having FREE shipping too so I saved about $23 in total! =D I was originally planning to maybe wait and buy this camera in Japan because I can probably buy it for a much cheaper price in one of those discount stores for cameras in Akihabara but I decided to get the camera here instead as I might not have enough luggage space to carry it back to Canada, lol. XD I can't wait to test it out and take photos with it! Gonna bring this out with me to High Park next weekend and take some cherry blossoms photos with it. ♥

After I bought the camera online, I was looking on eBay for a case for the camera. Gotta protect my baby from getting scratches and any of type of damage! =P I found this really nice pink leather case that also comes with a close-up lens with a self shoot mirror. OMG HOW INGENIUS!!! This is the PERFECT gadget for every camwhore girl out there! LOL. Japan, you seriously make the BEST things ever when it comes to finding ways to look good in self-portraits. I was actually just thinking how am I going to take good self-portraits of myself with this camera without knowing how I will look it in since you know there isn't a front screen or anything for me to check myself out to make sure I look good in my photo and that I am getting the angle right and not taking a photo with only half of my body/face in the photo. Well, fear no more for messing up on bad angles and wasting films to take crappy out of focus and ugly self-portrait photos of yourself. With the mirror lens attached at the front of the camera you can see yourself easily and take the PERFECT self-portrait shot ever! With films being so expensive for this camera, I do NOT want to have to take like 5 photos to get a perfect shot of myself when taking self-portraits...that's going to cost me a lot of money! T___T

Can't wait for my case and lens to come! I bought one that is shipping from Hong Kong so it'd probably take about 2-3 weeks to come in the mail. Love how you can buy everything from eBay! =) 

Dresses From Forever21

So while I was bored at work on Tuesday I was on the Canadian website for Forever 21 and found two dresses that I like and might consider getting. I'm going to check them out at the store on Friday after I get off work. ^___^ But you see, the things that I like seem to only come in one colour which is black and I want to get more brighter colour dresses for spring/summer. =( I actually just bought a black long maxi dress from Forver 21 two weeks ago, lol. The only reason I want to get these two dresses is because I don't have any in my closet that is in this style otherwise I'd have just pass on getting them. 

I love how this lace floral print dress has pockets! And actually the flowers print on the dress is pink so I guess it's not that black overall...at least there's some colour in it! XD 

And this cut-out waist rose print black dress is just so badass that I have to get it! I can pair these with my spikes ankle boots! Omg suddenly I am soooo excited for summer! =D And another great news is that there is a new Forever 21 store opening at the mall nearby my house. OMG YESSS!!! I'M SOOO EXCITED!! I'm going to be going to the store every week (or maybe even everyday? haha) now since the mall is only just a 10 minute walk from my house, LOL! XD

YesStyle Purchases

Made two orders from YesStyle recently to use some of my coupons and to make good use of my gold elite club member status with 10% off discount before it expires. And I don't think I'll be buying clothes from the site again until summer 2014.

I wanted a more "holiday" sweater to wear for the holiday season and this black polkadots white sweater with gold sequins collar is just perfect!

I wanted to get a few winter skirts to wear because I absolutely dislike wearing pants now. Plus wearing pants actually don't keep my legs warm in the cold winter, especially jeans and my legs feel sooooo cold! This skirt is rather quite thick and it'll keep my legs warm paired with some cotton tights. I wear 2 layers of tights in the winter and they actually keep my legs much warmer than when I'm actually wearing pants. I like how the gold star studs accent on the skirt makes it more interesting and cute!

And lastly I got this houndstooth A-line skirt that will definitely keep me warm! Love how the style is so classic and chic!

Possibly my last order from YesStyle for summer clothes. I need to stop going on the site because the more I go on and look at the clothes, the more items I want to get and buy! It doesn't help that there are TONS of sales on at the moment too...so hard to fight the temptation! AHHHHHH. But really I have enough clothes to last through the summer that will soon come to an end. I need to focus more on buying clothes for fall instead.

Got this really pretty and elegant flower print lace dress. Isn't it sooooo pretty and classic? Every girl needs a classic white dress and as well as a classic black dress. I really like the sheer design on the shoulder and the flower pendants attached on the collar makes it look so feminine and classy! It reminds me of something that you'd see people wear back in the 70's or 80's with like white lace gloves to match with them. It's such a timeless classic dress that will never go out of style. Perfect to have in your closet to wear for special occasions and events! 

Got this pretty thin sheer cardigan with embroidery designs on it. The sleeves remind me of the "princess sleeve" style that was popular in Japan a few years back. I like that it's super light so that you wouldn't feel hot even if you were wearing it over a dress or top. Perfect for layering for the hot summer! 

Got this birds print blue sweater with a detachable collar. This is actually an early fall item that I got. I first saw this sweater from blogger Tricia Gosingtian in which she wore in an outfit post and I have been obsessed over it ever since then. I was actually pretty excited when I found this on yesstyle. Can't wait to pair this with leather skirts in the fall/winter.

And lastly I got a pair of dark beige ankle boots with a cute bow at the back. I wasn't planning on getting any more new shoes but these were only $23 on sale!!! What a steal and I just couldn't resist not getting them. I don't have any boots in this particular style and it's too pretty and cute to not get and especially since it's on sale! =D There are actually a lot of shoes on sale on the site at the moment and there's quite a few I want to get as well but I think I'll wait for a bit until I find a new job for the fall. Don't want to be spending all my savings as I still have to save for my trip to Japan.
